We are a Commercial Building Contractor located in North Rockhampton. A traineeship is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to take the first steps to a successful and fulfilling career. You will be energetic and motivated to develop your skills and qualifications through a combination of on-the-job experience in a supportive team environment and formal training.

What will you be doing?

As a Trainee, you will complete a Certificate III in Business or Business Administration over a 12 month period whilst gaining valuable hands on industry experience.The successful applicant will provide reception and administrative support to our team, which will include duties such as:

  • Front of house reception duties
  • Responding to all visitors
  • Answering and transferring incoming calls
  • Relaying written and verbal messages
  • Provide administration support to team members
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Scan, photocopy and print documents
  • Electronic filing and record-keeping
  • General office administration duties
  • Data entry into Excel spreadsheets

About You:

  • Year 12 Certificate
  • Experience using standard Microsoft Office applications
  • Have a genuine interest in working in Business Administration
  • Provide your most recent school report card (if a recent school leaver) with your resume
  • The ability to learn in-house software applications
  • Have two work related references (or school related references) submitted at time of interview
  • Professional and courteous manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • A friendly and positive attitude
  • A commitment and willingness to learn
  • A strong work ethic, be reliable and punctual
  • The ability to work effectively as a team member
  • You are willing to undergo and able to pass drug and alcohol testing on request
